Captain of the Western Province and Stormers Rugby teams, Corne has played for 'Province and South Africa at the under 19, under 21 and senior levels, and has captained the Springboks, having played for them in Argentina, the UK, in the Tri-nations and in the test matches vs. France and Italy.
He writes a popular column on rugby in the "Cape Times", and enjoys public speaking especially with participation from the audience and also performs the role of MC well.

CV Corné Krige:
 
Born in Lusaka Zambia, 21 March 1975.
At the age of 7, attended school in Paarl.
Was Captain of Western Province under 13 Craven Week at the age of 11.
Captain of Western Province under 19 and South African Schools, in 1993.
Captain of South Africa under 19 that won the Junior World Cup France in 1994.
In 1995 Western Province under 21 Captain and led the team to an undefeated season.
In 1996, made his debut for Western Province.
In 1997 he was selected for Springboks but injured his knee in the Currie Cup Final against Free State.
In 1998 Toured with Springboks in Britain.
In 1999 he made his debut for the Springboks as Captain and they won 101-0 against Italy.
However, he injured his knee and missed the World Cup in 1999.
In 2000 and 2001, he was Captain of Western Province and they won the Currie Cup in both years.
In 2002 he became Springbok Captain and led the team to the World Cup in 2003.
Corne had played a total of 39 tests for South Africa where he was Captain 18 times.
He played 73 matches for WP (Captain 24 times).
He played 63 matches for Stormers (Captain 52 times).
Corne now lives in Melkbosstrand with his wife Justine and their 3 children Sophia (9), John (7) and Peter (5).
Corne owns his own company called Brandspace that specializes in Outdoor Advertising and Promotional Products.
Corne was in the last season of survivor.
