Paul is the author of 2 books on speaking - The Exceptional Speaker (revised 2021) and You Can Present With Confidence (2011). He is a founding Past President of the
Professional Speakers Association of Southern Africa receiving their Founders award at the Global Speakers Summit in Cape Town in April 2009 for exceptional service to the speaking industry. In 2017 he was inducted in to the Southern African Speakers Hall of Fame.
 
He is a business speaker, coach and authority on customer experience, business presentations and mindset shift. Paul the person:
A late starter to long distance running he has completed 85 marathons including 13 Two Oceans and 3 Comrades. A keen scuba diver and skiier, Paul knows a fine wine when he smells it - his favourite reds finding temporary resting in his cellar. He also appreciates a good single malt and a well brewed craft beer. He keeps an eye open for suppliers of excellent coffee beans and establishments that can match his home brew, which he enjoys with a block of dark chocolate. During lockdown he wrote and recorded 2 songs which he posted online, garnering almost 3,000 views. He is also an avid reader and researcher.
 
He has 2 grown up daughters, 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 Avo trees and one wife who lives with him and their vegetable patch in Sandton.
