In 1989, Aki started his own small Management Consultancy. Amongst other consulting work, he is actively involved in assisting companies to implement "Delight Your Customers!"TM - a Customer Satisfaction Improvement strategy which he developed in South Africa for the local market. The company has now grown to the point where every day Aki and his associates run seminars and workshops around the country, and even beyond our borders. Aki is often invited to give motivational presentations to groups, conduct seminars, workshops and training courses, and to carry out both in-house and external surveys for his clients. Since 1997, he has helped companies to develop their corporate strategic plans. Aki is passionate about the subject of customer care and at one stage co-hosted his own weekly radio talk show, on Radio 702, "Aki's Consumer Line", with Mike Mills. He often writes articles for various management journals, and has published a books called “Reflections on Delighting Your Customers and "Reinventing CRM”.

Speaker Introduction - Aki Kalliatakis (Colour Your Takkies)

 
Aki Kalliatakis is the founder of The Leadership LaunchPad, a business he founded in 1989 that consults to companies that want to improve customer loyalty and customer care. He prefers to avoid the pomposity of a formal introduction, but has all the right academic credentials, (MBA, if that’s what is important.) He has spoken at thousands of local and international conferences, with many global blue chip clients.  
 
His energy and enthusiasm for customer management is obvious, and he is also a voracious reader and writer. With eight books under his belt, and numerous articles in management journals, he has also appeared on Southern African television and radio programmes like Business Day TV and Radio 702.
 
He is married with two young sons, and his hobbies include a passion for wildlife, nature, astronomy and music. His dream as a young man was to play in a hard rock band, but instead he now sings in his church choir.
