S.A.M.A. award winning artist Ed Jordan has been at the forefront of the South African entertainment scene for 20 years. He is energetic, dynamic and passionate about everything he does, be it Music, T.V. or Radio.
Ed Jordan is a SAMA award winning, platinum selling musician, and a TV and Radio presenter. His most recent work was for SPUD THE MOVIE starring John Cleese, where he wrote and produced the orchestral score and the theme songs, as well as music supervising the film.
Solo Albums
Ed has recorded five solo albums featuring a number of hit singles, the most famous of which is his song "Always", which remains a South African favorite. His most recent CD, "Tonight" featured the hit "Two Strangers", which went to No.1 on the S.A Take 40.
T.V.
Ed was the host of M-Net's Deal or no Deal for three seasons, and was a member of the panel on the sports show Super Saturday for eight years. He also co-presented The Wedding Show, Popstars and Fast Forward for the SABC.

Ed has been working as a professional MC for the last 20 years. He is often booked as a conference facilitator because of his boundless energy and ability to get along with South Africans from all walks of life. The added feature that he brings to your corporate event or awards ceremony, is that he can sing and entertain, as well as host an evening with style. He has done this for most of South Africa's leading companies including Liberty Life, The Insurance Institute, Nedbank, Standard Bank, ABSA, South African Breweries and Microsoft.
Corporate Music
Ed specialises in combining African and Western popular styles of music for corporate songs and anthems. He has done this with great success for Nedbank, Sun International, ABSA, KPMG, Afrox, and the Springbok Rugby Team.
Radio
After spending a year writing and producing comedy songs for Jeremy Mansfield's "Rude Awakening" on 94.7 Highveld Stereo, Ed co-hosted the Kaya FM breakfast show, "Live and switched on" from 2005-2008.
Commercial Music
Ed has been writing and producing jingles for TV and Radio for twenty years. Recent commercials include Kellogg's, Surf, Sunsilk, and Pick'n Pay.
Beautiful Creatures
Six years after starting the Beautiful Creatures label with friends Alan Glass and Paul Choritz, their brand has grown from strength to strength. They now have eight albums, two books, a clothing range and a stage show. They are currently busy with a Television Show in development.

MC
Ed has been working as a professional MC since he left Drama School twenty years ago. He is often booked as a conference facilitator and MC because of his boundless energy and ability to get along with South Africans from all walks of life.

COMPOSER - FILM AND TELEVISION
In 2010 Ed completed work on SPUD THE MOVIE starring John Cleese, where he wrote and produced the orchestral score and the theme songs as well as music supervising the film.
Ed has worked with artist William Kentridge writing and producing the score for the award winning film "Monument" as well as producing the music for the internationally acclaimed play "Woyzeck on the Highveld" which has toured all over the world. He's also worked with Oscar nominated South African director Darryl Roodt writing and performing the theme song for his film "To the Death".
In 1999 he co-wrote the musical "Love, crime and Johannesburg" with Malcolm Purkey and the cast, and ran at the Grahamstown Festival and then at The Market Theatre.
