Synopsis:
PRESENTATIONS by Gordon Rolls

Gordon's ultimate is to present in dfferent languages, to a diverse audience.

His talk objectives are as follows:-

Educate delegates on safe working conditions: 15 minute talk focusing on working safely while ensuring that we understand that we are not perfect. Even the best of us can forget or make errors in judgment. To maximize our safety efforts, we must look out for one another. If someone tells you that you are not working in a safe manner, do not become angry or defensive. They are just looking out for your well-being. If you did not know you were doing something wrong, be thankful your errors were noted before someone got hurt. If you simply forgot or got a little careless, be grateful that someone cares enough to get you back on track. If you see someone doing something unsafe, speak up, but do so diplomatically. Treat others just as you would like to be treated in the same situation.

Crime and Robberies at our Petrol Stations: This topic focusses on crimes which happen in and around petrol station looking at what role can be played by the employees how to caution and protect the customers without actually putting yourself at risk. I do this with little role play and characterization and making it fun and lasting buy using charisma and comic but also conveying the message more effectively as possible.

Ethics and the Workplace: Understanding ethical behavior and how it contributes to eradication of crime and robberies in the workplace what we should do and what we should avoid to do living the ethical ETHOS.

Financial Literacy: Plan and live according to your means here I play a video clip which is about 10 minutes and focusses on budgeting and financial management. I then bring in another dimension where there is focus on how not managing our money could result in us being unethical and being involved in criminal activities indirectly or directly.
