Afro Tenors

The three highly talented young men, energised by a living passion for their chosen genre of music and song, have taken the local Incentive and Corporate markets by storm! Receiving standing ovations wherever they perform, the Three Afro Tenors present an excellent repertoire of popular light classical hits, including favourites like Amigos Para Siempre, Love Changes Everything, Surriento, Santa Lucia, Funiculi Funicula and O Solo Mio, all supplemented with the finest traditional African bush songs, including the likes of Meadowlands, Thula Thula, Malaika, and the great Madiba tribute, Rolihlahla Mandela, all presented to perfection by Africa’s supremely talented opera singers Agos Moahi, Given Mabena and Lucky Sibandan.

Afrotenor has travelled widely in the continent and internationally. Amongst the African states, they travelled Zimbabwe, Namibia, Swaziland, Zambia and Kenya. In December 2003 the trio returned from a successful trip to Vietnam. Other overseas travels include Italy, USA, Germany, and Switzerland to name only a few.

It is interesting to mention that the first Afrotenor performance had the former State President Nelson Mandela as the guest of honour who gave them a standing ovation. President Thabo Mbeki was over the moon after listening to Agos Moahi at the International Investment Council Presidential Dinner at Shamwari Game Reserve.
