Guest Speaker Craig Wilkinson is a bestselling author, award-winning social entrepreneur, two-time TEDx speaker, and one of South Africa’s leading voices on positive masculinity, fatherhood, and ending gender-based violence (GBV). Known for his ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences, Craig brings clarity, compassion, and practical insight to some of society’s most pressing challenges.

In 2010, Craig founded Father A Nation (FAN), a pioneering non-profit organisation established in response to the devastating impact of fatherlessness in South Africa, including gender-based violence, violent crime, and men’s mental health challenges. Through FAN, he has led large-scale interventions to restore and equip boys and men to become excellent fathers, mentors, role models, and community builders. His work has impacted over 350,000 men and their families.

Craig’s contribution to social change has earned him numerous accolades, including South Africa’s first GQ Humanitarian Man of the Year Award in 2019, the Panache Men of Valour Award in 2026, and the Best Economic Development Project in Gauteng award in 2011.

As an author, Craig has produced influential work on masculinity, fatherhood, and GBV. His latest book, Force for Good: The Power of Healthy Masculinity, challenges harmful narratives and presents a compelling vision of masculinity as a force for societal good. His bestselling book, DAD: How to Be the Father Your Children Need, is also available as an online course, while It’s a Dad!: Every Man’s Guide to Pregnancy, Birth and Becoming a Father supports men through the transition into fatherhood.

Craig has also developed widely used training resources, including No Excuse for Abuse, which explores the causes of GBV and the actions needed to prevent it, and The 6 Pack of Masculine Virtues, which promotes positive, healthy masculinity. These resources are used across schools, universities, organisations, and communities.

A sought-after keynote speaker and facilitator, Craig has addressed major local and international platforms, including the Paris Women’s Economic Forum. His presentations and training programmes cover positive masculinity, GBV, male allyship, gender equality, parenting, personal excellence, social impact, transformational leadership, and human-first organisational culture.

Craig equips both men and women with practical frameworks to build accountable leadership, strengthen relationships, navigate diversity, and create safer, healthier environments. His engaging and unifying approach makes him a valuable speaker for corporate conferences, leadership events, schools, and community-focused organisations.

Craig also hosts the Force for Good podcast, where he engages with experts, change-makers, and thought leaders on leadership, masculinity, personal responsibility, and social impact.
