Guest Speaker Duane Nicol started a career in cyber security more than a decade ago. Duane has experienced some of the largest and most exciting shifts and trends in the threat landscape and has endeavored to become a self-taught expert, challenging the status-quo on how to overcome the associated challenges with specific emphasis on security awareness.

Duane, now a Lead Specialist for the MEA region on Emerging Products, shares insights with the market on employee behavior, and looks to increase the engagement and personal investment an employee undertakes within security and IT. 

With extensive expertise in data and cyber security, previously working for one of the largest certificate authorities globally, Duane Nicol has a proven understanding of corporate risk within the enterprise and has dealt with some of the largest groups, spanning the healthcare, finance and technology industries.
