Since the release of their self-titled debut album in April 2011, GoodLuck have taken the charts by storm as the explosive electro-swing act, which claimed the number one position in chart-topping singles off a debut album in the history of South African Music. With six number one hits; including Taking it Easy, Harlem, Hop on Hop off, four international tours and over 350 live shows already behind their name, GoodLuck are making waves beyond boarders.
Started as a passion project for producer Ben Peters, after teaming up with singer and songwriter, Juliet Harding, GoodLuck first found fame playing weekly residencies at Karma, which subsequently grew their fan base and led to them opening for internationally acclaimed DJs, Paul Oakenfold and Basement Jaxx. The invitation to headline the Fontys stage at the Festival Mundial in The Netherlands was also highlight for the group in 2012.
GoodLuck will return to Europe for a three month summer tour which include some exciting performances in The Netherlands including Solar Festival and the European Tour of Holi One Festival. GoodLuck have also enjoyed an unconventional approach to making music; pushing the boundaries in terms of music production and finding ways to do so to an international standard. This is clearly evident in their new album, which is due to be released in the second half of 2013. This album will see GoodLuck shoot a ground breaking documentary while recording their album in a secret outdoor location; a two-week drive off the beaten track in an adventure which will see them incorporate the unique and organic sounds of the outdoors into their electronic pop format of music.
