Louise has been writing songs on the piano since 11yrs old and was signed to her first record label in South Africa at 15. She released her first single at 17 and has continued to release numerous top 10 singles throughout her career.

International interest from major labels came as a result of ‘Play the Game’, which lead to a deal with Sony/Illustrious UK. Louise wrote, sang and vocally produced the song ‘I'd Say Yes’ over the instrumental, Pornorama ‘Leliwa’. Licensed to South Africa, it reached the no.1 spot on the Top 40 charts.

Louise had spent the last two years touring with “Silent Scream” and wanted her next album to reflect the time spent on the stage. Produced by Theo Crous, “Saved By the moonlight” has some of South Africa’s finest musicians supporting her dream to create a timeless album which is all about great songs, inspiring lyrics and music that lingers for years to come.

Home [First single]: became a top ten hit on all rock radio stations around the country. The music video was shot in Hong Kong and has been nominated for three awards.
Louise has been nominated for three South African Music Awards, “Best Female” and twice for Best Adult Contempory English Album.

The Home Tour Live - In 2008 Louise embarked on a much-acclaimed nationwide tour, which comprised of acoustic performances of not only Carver’s best and most recognised work, but also legendary South African hits from the past.

‘The Home Tour’ culminated at The Barnyard Theatre in Menlyn Park, Pretoria on 29 October 2008. Her sincere and beautiful performance was recorded by Sony Music, Carver’s record label. The recording emphasizes her musical quality and relevance, the energetic atmosphere of this sold out show as well as Carver’s significant body of work and strong love for her country.

‘The Home Tour - Live’ album will be officially released to all good music retail outlets on 20 April 2009.

To launch ‘The Home Tour – Live’, Carver will be showcasing the second leg of ‘The Home Tour’ across South Africa in May 2009.
