Ashraf Garda has just completed a 3 year stint as the host of Special Assignment – the investigative journalism TV show on SABC 3.
Ashraf Garda is also the brainchild of Champion South Africa. That's a broad based mass participation movement that encourages a champion attitude amongst all South Africans - because only champion people can build champion nations . A number of high profile, hugely influential South Africans have joined him in helping turn SA into Champion South Africa .

Ashraf loves to media train- he sees it as an important enabler to ensure all South Africans up their communication skills , that ensures we all are equipped to speak of and for the South Africa project.
He media trained SA cricketer Hashim Amla to field questions on the "terrorist jibe " directed at him by Australian commentator Dean Jones in 2006. And he has also done media training for Discovery Health and On Cue Communication.
Ashraf has also been a judge at many awards events including the South African of the Year ( SATY AWards ), SA Premier Business Awards, the Pitch & Polish entrepreneur competition, the Sport Industry Awards and the PR industry's Prism awards.
Ashraf is a multiple award winning broadcaster - in 2014 his Media Show on SAfm Radio was judged best weekend show at the MTN Radio Awards , in 2013 he was judged " best news and actuality presenter " at the MTN radio Awards , in 2012 he was the recipient of the Turquoise Harmony Institute Media Award.
And to complete his cycle of versatility he was used as a 2010 World Cup analyst on CNN, AL Jazeera and CBC TV Canada.
